Funeral services for Frances Beatrice “Bea” Kirksey May, 71, of Butler, will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.  Burial will take place in Westview Cemetery, Nashville, GA.  Mrs. May passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016 at her residence.  She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and had owned and operated Bea’s For Beauty for 40 plus years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey May.

Survivors include two sisters, Lenda Kirksey Taunton (Robert) of Butler and Brenda Kirksey Dowd (Franklin) of Byron; one brother, Don Kirksey of Cochran; several nieces and nephews; caregiver, Julie Morrison of Butler; and her pet dog, Bojingles.

Visitation will be held on Saturday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
