Funeral services for Dorsey “D.L.” Martin, 79, of Roberta will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Congregational Christian Church. Burial will follow in Roberta City Cemetery. Mr. Martin passed away on July 12, 2017 at Pine Pointe Hospice.

Mr. Martin was a member of Pleasant Hill Congregational Christian Church and was an avid hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, E.J. Martin and  Maude Lou Franks Brown and wife, Judith Martin.

Survivors include two daughters, Brooks Cumbie of Bonaire and Kathy Harrison of Powder Springs, GA; four grandchildren, Rodrick Harrison of Valdosta, Marley Cantrell of Macon, Noah Cumbie of Bonaire and Kameron Goode of Powder Springs; two aunts, Martha Williams of Macon and Annie Ruth Strickland of Byron; several cousins; beloved pet Eli.

Visitation will be on Friday from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
