Funeral services for Henry Evans Joiner, Sr., 80, of Butler, will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 24, 2016 in the Chapel of McLeighton Funeral Service with visitation one hour prior to the service.    Burial will follow in Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  Mr. Evans passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at his home.  He served in the United States Army and was employed with Robins Air Force Base for 36 years.  He loved to fish, piddle around in the yard, go to church and most of all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, H.L. and Lois Taunton Joiner; sister, Betty Pettis; brother-in-law, Jim Pettis; nephew, Michael Spivey; and son-in-law, Paul D. Robinson.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Linda Childree Joiner of Butler; his children, Lisa Robinson, Henry Evans Joiner, Jr. (Lisa) and their children, Brandon, Brent and Brianna, Mary Ann Youngblood (Rusty) all of Butler; Debbie Busbee of Locust Grove, Bill Busbee of Butler, Donna Bailey (Mike) of Oglethorpe, Susan Johnson (Walter) of Baconton and Regina Busbee of Vidalia; nineteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one niece and three nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1 to 2 pm at the funeral home.
