Graveside services for Jay Stalnaker, 31, of Butler will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Butler Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Stalnaker passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at The Medical Center of Peach County. He was a member of Fickling Mill Masonic Lodge 129, Kappa Sigma Fraternity, and served as the Past President of The Young Democrats of Georgia. Mr. Stalnaker was named to the Small Town America’s 100 Most Influential Peoples list in 2015.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, W.H. Stalnaker; maternal grandparents, Vernon and Lucille Reddish; and uncle, Bucky Reddish.

Survivors include his father, Scott Stalnaker (Cheryl) of Butler; mother, Nancy Peacock (Mike) of Butler; one brother, Blake Stalnaker of Butler; one sister, Hayley Stalnaker of Butler; stepbrother, Chad Peacock of Butler; stepsister, June Lawson of Butler; paternal grandmother, Hazel Stalnaker of Butler; nieces, Melissa Peacock and L.B. Peacock of Butler; uncle, David Reddish (Lisa) of Butler; cousins, Thomas David “Tee” Reddish, Jr. (Katie) of Ellaville and their son, Samuel David Reddish; and family pets, Sue and Jack.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 until 3:30 at the funeral home.
