Funeral services for Joe H. Prince, 81, of Byron, will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Porterfield Baptist Church, Macon, GA.  The committal service will follow at 1:30 pm at Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Reynolds, GA.   Joe passed away on Friday, January 06, 2017 at his residence. He was a member of Porterfield Baptist Church, Al-Sihah Lodge, Rutland Lions Club, Macon Corvette Club and Macon Motor Boat.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Lester Prince and Alma Camilla Youngblood Prince; three brothers, Robert, James, and Marvin Prince; two sisters, May Bird Prince and Ruby Roberts; and a son, Randy Prince.

Survivors include his wife, Ramona Prince of Byron; son, Joey Prince (Penny) of Byron; daughter, Linda Perry (Jimmy) of Bryon; four brothers, Leon Prince of Macon, Donald Prince (Nedra) of Byron, John Bernard Prince (Bobbie Jean) of Macon and Ricky Albert Prince of Milledgeville; two sisters, Tressie Manderson of Macon and Jeanette Hough of Roberta; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 4 to 7 pm at 202 West White Road, Byron, GA  31008.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church c/o Carlton Jinks, 6093 Whitewater Road, Ideal, GA 31041.
