Funeral services for Leroy C. White, 78, of Knoxville, will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Evangelistic House of Prayer.  Burial will follow in Uvalda City Cemetery in Uvalda, GA at 3:00 pm. Mr. White passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017.  He was a member of the Evangelistic House of Prayer where he served as a deacon.  He was a former member of the Crawford County Lions Club and former Boy Scout leader in Bibb County.  He was a board member of Powersville Opery House.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chestley White and Vesta Connell White; his wife, Ruby Louise Graham White; and two grandsons, Daniel Kemp White and Andy Montgomery.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel White of Knoxville and Douglas White of Tybee Island; two daughters, Denise McGraw (Don) of Warner Robins and Donna Cannon of Knoxville; three brothers, John White of Crawford County, Herbert White (Ginger) and Bobby White of Jones County; two sisters, Ewana McDaniel (Ray) of Glenwood and Maudie Warnock of Milledgeville; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.

Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
