Funeral services for Marvin Thomas Windham, 69, of Reynolds, will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Taylor Mill Baptist Church.  Burial will be private.  Mr. Windham passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon.  He was a member of Taylor Mill Baptist Church.

He was retired from Bluebird Body Company after 41 years of service as a tool and die machinist.

A dedicated Mason for 35 years serving as Worshipful Master of Reynolds Lodge 695 and Fickling Lodge 129 and of the 3rd District; Worthy Patron of Stella Butler Order of the Eastern Star; Perpetual Mason; lifetime member of Al Sihah Shrine Temple (Macon, GA); member of and Past President of Taylor County Shrine Club; and member of Hillbilly Unit 89. 

Marvin was an avid fisherman enjoying this pastime even when the fish weren’t biting. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather; friend to all who knew him, willing to help anyone in need. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Benjamin Thomas Windham, mother, Dovie Childree Windham Hand, brother, Allen Jackson Windham and sister, Audrey Carpenter.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bian Windham and his four daughters, Carmen (Dennis) Grimsley of Reynolds, Reneen Windham of Macon, Theresa Windham of Athens and Melissa (Johnie Joe) Wood of Ft. Valley; eight grandchildren, Anita (Jenderk) Grimsley-Herrera, Derek Grimsley, Michael Childree, Ginger (Michael) Boykin, Neil Grimsley, Kurt Childree, Brandie Wood, and Heather Childree;  five great-grandchildren, Michael Dean, Jase,  LayLa, Brailynn Grace and Jonathan; siblings, James (Catherine) Windham, Kathy (William) Wainwright, Wanda (Henry) Atkins;  in-laws, Maudie Windham and Bessie (Buddy) Jones; one aunt, Jimmy Lee Windham of Macon; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless friends and family.

Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
