Pamela Gayle Holland, 65, of Ideal, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Miona Nursing Home where she had been a resident for many years. She was born with Down’s Syndrome and throughout her life she had unconditional love for every one she met. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bayard Holland and Grace Wilford Holland and a brother, Ronnie Holland.

Survivors include her step-mother, Carole Hays Holland of Roberta; step-brother, Joe T. Mathews (Nancy) of Roberta; two step-sisters, Dottie Hester (Jim) of Ft. Valley and Maria McConnell (Rob) of Atlanta; aunt, Joyce Johnson (Edward) of Fuquay Varina, NC; and a cousin, Rebecca Mathews (Halford) of Fuquay Varina, NC.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of Miona Nursing home for the compassionate care, love and support they gave Pam.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Fuquay Varina, NC

McLeighton Funeral Service of Roberta is in charge of local arrangements and Thomas Funeral Home in Fuquay Varina, NC will be handling arrangements in North Carolina.
