Graveside services for Robert David Cooper, Sr., 80, of Rupert, will be held on Thursday at 2:30 pm at Sand Bethel Church Cemetery, 2212 Americus Highway, Rupert, GA.    Mr. Cooper passed away on Wednesday, February 08, 2017 at Upson Regional Medical Center.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Butler and was owner and operator of Cooper Construction.

He is survived by his wife, Jeraldine Cooper of Rupert; two sons, Robbie Cooper (Linda) and Ernie Cooper (Kelli) of Rupert; one daughter, Kimmie Anne Bell (Barry) of Macon; two sisters, Daisy Barnes of Rupert and Patty Sinclair of Warner Robins; eight grandchildren, Ashley Cooper Chancellor (Dustin) of Powersville, J.R. Cooper of Rupert, Brettney Placek (John) of Lawrenceville, Courtney Sapp (Forrest) of Jacksonville, NC, Victoria Cooper of Rupert,  R.L. Bell of Cleveland, TN, Savannah Bell and Oakland Bell of Macon; two great-grandchildren, Waylon and Cooper Chancellor of Powersville also survive.

The family will be greeting friends after the graveside service.
