Funeral services for Robert “Bobby” Taunton, Jr., 70, of Butler, will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 11:00 am at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  Bobby passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Pine Pointe Hospice.

He enjoyed spending time with his son and hunting and fishing in the Everglades.  He had lived in Miami, FL for 30 years before coming back to Butler. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert A. Taunton, Sr. and Nellie Hankinson Taunton.

Survivors include his son, Robert Austin Taunton of Butler; one brother, Stephen Taunton (Maureen) of Butler; one sister, Barbara Taunton of Butler; one aunt, Hazel Hankinson of Butler; two nieces.

Visitation will be held one hour before the funeral service.
