Funeral services for Ruth Locke Kirksey, 92, of Butler will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mt Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Kirksey passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Coliseum Medical Center.

She was a member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Zachary Timothy Locke and Claudia Watson Locke; husband, James Darby Kirksey; brother, Roswell Locke and sister, Martha Hamlin.

Survivors include two sons, Tim Kirksey (Donna) of Butler and David Kirksey (Crystal) of Butler; one daughter, Dianne Kirksey Powell (Tommy) of Smyrna, GA; one sister, Gloria Daye of Warner Robins; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 until the funeral hour at First Baptist Church.
