Funeral services for Sara M. Posey, 84, of Butler will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Turner’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 Mrs. Posey passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016 in Griffin, GA.

She was a member of Turner’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Moore and Cora Ingram     Moore and her husband, Andrew Jack Posey.

Survivors include one son, David W. Posey (Pam) of Carrollton; one daughter, Melanie Boan (John) of Griffin; six grandchildren, Brian Posey (Kim), Paul Boan (Leigh), Jonathan Boan, Adam Boan (Emily), Chelsea Goode and William Goode; four great grandchildren; one sister Florie Windham of Pottersville; one brother, Morris Moore of Griffin.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eternal Hope Hospice, 123 N. 18th Street, Griffin, GA 30223.
