Graveside services for Ulysses Lonnie Wainwright, 73, of Roberta will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 11:00 am at Roberta City Cemetery.

Mr. Wainwright passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Medical Center of Central Georgia.

Mr. Wainwright   served in The US Marines and was previously employed with Fort Valley Utilities. He was also a pecan farmer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Leverett Wainwright; son, David Wainwright; brother, Henry Wainwright and his parents, Ulysses Simpson Wainwright and Lorena B. Wainwright Cummings.

Survivors include four sons, Keith Wainwright (Lucinda) of Roberta, Tony Wainwright of Ft. Valley, Brian Wainwright of Diboll, Texas and Matthew Wainwright (Michele) of Lizella; one brother, Clarence Wainwright of Butler; two sisters, Mary Ann Peterman (Millard) of Ft. Valley and Jo Hickson (Ed) of Fletcher, North Carolina; former wife, Lois Greene Railey;  many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10 until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
