Graveside services for Virgil Jessie Pollard, Sr., 74, of Musella will be held on Saturday at 2:30 at Roberta City Cemetery. Virgil passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Pollard was a member of Powder Springs Baptist Church in Tennessee. He was a plumber since 1960.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Monroe Pollard and Jean Holt Pollard and one son, Marvin Pollard.

Survivors include his wife, Charlene Pollard of Musella; three sons, Virgil Pollard, Jr. of Warner Robins, Mark Pollard of Warner Robins and Brian Pollard of Warner Robins; two daughters, Amanda Pollard of Crawford County and Theresa Bates of Crawford County; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one stepson, Robert Evans of Lawrence, GA and one stepdaughter, Tabitha Evans of Lawrence, GA.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with medical and funeral expenses.
