William Randy Carroll

William “Randy” Carroll, 61, of Crawford County, GA, left this earth on January 28, 2018.  Randy was born to the late John William “Josh” Carroll and Gloria “Dimples” Bowden Carroll Mashburn on Friday, July 13, 1956.  He leaves behind his loving family: children Thad William Carroll (Beth), Becky Carroll Wilcox (Dusty), children’s mother Ginny Ruth Barnes Carroll, sisters Nadine Valdes, Melanie Reynolds (Randy), Romaine Munoz (Roberto), grandchildren Anna Grace Wilcox, Thad William Carroll, Jr., Keegan Norcom, Claudia Hesse and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Randy was born, raised, and lived most of his life in Crawford County, GA.  He graduated from Crawford County High School in 1974.  He farmed in Crawford County in the 70s and 80s.  From 1991 until his death, Randy operated his own repair business, specializing in water well and pump repair – Randy Carroll Pump and Well Service.  Randy was known by many as the “Well Man” who could fix anything.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at McLeighton Funeral Home in Roberta, GA, followed by a graveside service at 4:30 pm at the Roberta City Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to “pay it forward” and help someone in need – as Randy has done for all of us.
