Earl Roger Sams Obituary

Graveside services for Earl Roger Sams, 72, of Macon, will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Turner’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Roger passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Sams and Bessie Hortman Sams.

Survivors include four daughters, Shannon Jordan (Billy) of Butler, Penny Lee Arnett (Charles) of Macon, Wendy Sams Maples (Toby) of Williamson and Ann Sams Woolsey of Juliet; one sister, Ophelia Sams Hicks of Thomaston; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and his puppy, Poop.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9:00 until 10:30 am at the funeral home.
