George D. “Joe” Williams, 80, of Butler passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife, Sammie Hobbs Williams of Butler; five sons, Scott Williams of Lakeland, FL, Tony Williams (Mary) of Mineola, TX, Kenneth Williams (Linda) of Dallas TX, Mike Wainwright (Christy) of Butler, Billy Wainwright (Vicki) of Butler; one daughter, Shae Ackerson (Christian) of NC; nineteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
