Grace Elizabeth (Hinton) Robinson

Funeral services for Grace Hinton Robinson, 79, of Butler, will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Turner’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Mrs. Robinson passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry.

She was a member of Turner’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Grace loved her family, friends and those in the community.  She loved preparing meals and sharing them with others.  She was known for her “butter rolls” that she made at Easter.  Family gatherings, fishing, hunting, playing cards and gardening were all ways that she enjoyed life to the fullest.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake Hinton and Cleone Hinton Byrd and a brother, Wanza Hinton.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Floyd Robinson; one son, Rex Robinson (Laurette) of Butler; one daughter, Charlotte Rustin of Reynolds; two brothers, Hubert Hinton of Spring Creek, FL and Frank Byrd (Betsy) of Butler; a sister, Vangeline Hinton of Beaumont, TX; four grandchildren, Mandy Robinson (Chuck), Marc Robinson (Angela), Ashley Rustin and her fiance Rusty and Brandon Rustin; six great-grandchildren, Clayton, Dylan and Emily Lanning and Colton, Savanah and Paisley Robinson; several nieces and nephews also survive.
