Dottie and familly-We came to know Jim for the past few years and found him to be a friend, a kind and loving husband, father, stepfather and grandfather to his extended family. Jim and Dottie had a special closeness and shared many beautiful times together. Jim will be missed by so many.

My my neighbor, my friend. You touched so many lives during the years that the Lord blessed us with your presence. The angels are rejoicing with your arrival even though our hearts are breaking. Im am comforted knowing that you crossed the river and are resting under the shade of a tree, you have a line in the water , joy in your heart, and that glimmer in your eye. Rest easy Jim.. You did it right.

Jim, I learned a lot from you and when I went into law enforcement in 1989 you helped me along the way. I am so thankful that when I moved back to Taylor county about five years ago that I ran into you a few times. It was always good talking with you and even though I always picked at you about being a yankee, your heart was here with us in Taylor county, a place you choose to make your home. You fought a good fight and there is no shame in that. Now you can walk those streets of gold, but those of us left here will never, ever forget you. Ms. Dottie and family, prayers for all of you guys, Jim will be terribly missed by all of us.
