James D. "Jimmy" Giles Obituary
Graveside services for James D. “Jimmy” Giles, 74, of Roberta, will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 11:00 am at Roberta City Cemetery. Jimmy passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at Pruitt Healthcare. He was retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company and was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener and cook.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. Giles and Laverne Giles; son, Jay Giles; and two brothers, Jerry Giles and Jackie Giles.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Nancy Giles of Roberta; daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Patrick Tedders of Lizella; grandchildren, Luke Tedders, Maddie Tedders and Dustin White.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association, 100 Edgewood Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30303.
