Funeral services for Jo Cummings, 74, of Butler, will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of McLeighton Funeral Service. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Macon. Mrs. Cummings passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Taylor County Health and Rehab.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Butler. After the death of their son, Billy, Jr. she became her husband’s trucking companion, traveling all over the United States. She was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Fullmore and Oma Medlin Fullmore; her husband of 55 years, Billy Kay Cummings, Sr.; a son, Billy Kay Cummings, Jr.; six siblings, Billy Fullmore, Jay Fullmore, Dorothy Payne, Joyce Chapman, Patricia Jackson, and Brenda Crider.
Survivors include one daughter, Pam Willard (Andy) of Butler; two grandchildren, Emily Cloniger (Shelby) and Sam Willard of Butler; five siblings, Betty Hamlin of Macon, Clifford Fullmore of Eatonton, Abby Fullmore of Ocala, FL, Randy Fullmore of Warner Robins and Hope Pittman of Kathleen; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
