Our family was blessed to have a wonderful Mother with us through her 100th year of life. While she will be missed, we find joy in knowing she is in the presence of our Lord and joining her family members in heaven. Anne Gray Sikes passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 7, 2024 in Vero Beach, FL. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years James Norris Sikes. Survivors include daughter, Ginya Sikes Dery (Adrian) of Vero Beach, FL; son, James Norris Sikes, Jr. (Charlotte) of Knoxville, TN; grandson, James Cortney Sikes (Karen) of Knoxville, TN; great grandchildren Sadie Sikes and Sawyer Sikes of Knoxville, TN; nephew, William Gray III of Butler, GA; great nephew, William Gray IV (Penny) of Reynolds, GA; sister-in-law, Frankie Sikes Davis of Dawsonville, GA; and niece Donna Davis Blount (David) of Gainesville, GA. 

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Butler Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Justin Kirksey will officiate. Visitation with family and viewing will be held at the Butler Baptist church from 10:00 am until 11:00 am just prior to the graveside service.
