Funeral services for Ashleigh Rowe, 26, of Butler, will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Baptist Church in Reynolds. Burial will follow in Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Ashleigh passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

Ashleigh was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Reynolds. She was a very sweet and loving child who bravely fought battles of seizures from a long-term illness of Lennox-Gastaut syndrome.  Her favorite hobbies included snuggling with her granny and being a great bedfellow. She enjoyed music and would always calm down when music was played.  When Ashleigh was little, she enjoyed rides on the golf cart with her granddaddy.  She would always hug Uncle Wally and her granddaddy and grab their hats (something only she could get away with). She would grab Aunt Lynn’s hair and always pull her closer to snuggle.  She was always precious in her “ladybug” outfit, and that’s how she earned her nickname.  Her mother’s favorite memory of Ashleigh was when granddaddy had his attention diverted and started to leave on the golf cart without her. Although she was non-verbal, her point came across loudly as she stomped her foot in disapproval.  Ashleigh loved her daddy, and he lovingly referred to her as Babygirl and Taterbug.  She loved couch snuggles with her mama the most.  Her mother was the best advocate. The only person stronger than her mother was Ashleigh herself.  Ashleigh’s biggest hero will always be her mama and vice versa, and Ashleigh will always be her mama’s hero.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Rowe, Jr.; her maternal grandfather, Wallace Carpenter; and her paternal grandparents, Oatis and Peewee Rowe.

She is survived by her loving mother, Prissy Carpenter Rowe of Butler; her brother, Kevin Rowe of Macon; maternal grandmother, Bernice Carpenter of Butler; uncle, Wally Carpenter (Kay) of Junction City; aunt, Lynn Bailey (Robert) of Haddock; and uncles, David Rowe of Macon and Paul Rowe.

Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family will be meeting at Wally and Kay Carpenter's residence, 9276 Butler Highway, Junction City, GA  31812
