Barbara E. Taunton, 79, of Butler, passed away on Friday, March 15th, 2024. She was born on Tuesday, June 27th, 1944. A private burial will be held at a later date.
She was a retired bookkeeper, was of the Baptist faith and loved gardening and flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert A. Taunton, Sr., and Nellie Hankinson Taunton and her brother, Bobby Taunton.
She is survived by her brother Stephen Taunton and his wife Maureen of Butler; one nephew, Austin Taunton of Butler; two nieces; Stephanie Whiteaker and her husband David of Butler; and Brooke Swindall and her husband James of Cusseta; her cousin, Joyce Stevens of Butler and numerous other cousins.
