Barry James Obituary

Barry Daniel James, 65, of Butler passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Barry attended Bethel Primitive Baptist Church. He was a retired restaurant manager.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leon James; brother, Bill James; grandson, Brice Chesnut.

Survivors include five daughters, Danielle Whalen (Dave) of Keizer, Oregon, Gayla James of Chattanooga, TN;, Ginger Oliver (Rusty) of Macon, Susie Mitchell of Macon and Jessica Mitchell of Florida; mother, June James of Butler; one sister, Beth Tanner of Butler; six grandchildren, Sandy James, Ella Whalen, Olivia Whalen, Cameron Chestnut, Sayward Mitchell, Zodi Johnson; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
