Obituary
Funeral services for Beatrice “Missa Bea” Burchfield Payne, 100, of Reynolds will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 11:00 am at Trinity Church of Reynolds. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Mrs. Bea passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at The Oaks Nursing Home.
She was a member of the Reynolds United Methodist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and dearly loved her family which included her nieces and nephews in Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Whatley Payne, Jr.; one brother, Calvin Burchfield, four sisters, Mable Williams, Edna Howell, Glynn Pruitt, and Kay Standford; and one great-grandson, Daniel Whatley Payne V.
Survivors include her son, Danny Payne (Susan) of Reynolds; four grandsons, Daniel Whatley Payne, IV (Kayla) of Byron, Wesley Jordan Payne of Reynolds, Andrew Jackson Payne (Chelsea Mullins) of Reynolds, Jacob Hiley Payne of Reynolds; one great-grandson, Jackson Anthony Payne; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Church of Reynolds, PO Box 266, Reynolds, GA 31076.
