Graveside services for Betty Jane Ridgely, age 76, of Butler, will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 11:00 am at Butler Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Ridgely passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

She was a member of Trinity Free Will Baptist Church and was known as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed crafting, sewing, shopping, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Delmar and Mary Sinclair Robertson,; her twin brother, Bobby Robertson, and by her husband, James Albert Ridgely.

She is survived by four daughters: Belinda Bull (Ronnie) of Pennsylvania, Loretta Harris (Richard Hardee) of Butler, Marguerite Giles (Venice) of Reynolds, and Mary Ridgely (Charles Hooper) of Butler; one brother, Jimmy Roberson of Maryland; two sisters, Shirley Black and Mary Louise Black, both of Maryland; and ten grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association.
