Funeral services for Beverlyn Jean Evans Bond, 86, of Reynolds will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 3:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Butler.  Visitation will begin at 1:30 pm.  Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.  Mrs. Bond passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022.

Mrs. Bond was office manager and executive secretary for 47 years with Public Service Telephone Company.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Butler and the GFWC Reynolds Woman’s Club.  She taught Sunday school, served as church pianist, and sang in the choir.  She enjoyed painting, fishing, gardening and loved her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Daniel Evans and Sarah Belle Nash Evans and her sister, Mary Janice Evans.

She is survived by her husband, Don E. Bond of Reynolds; two sons, Edward “Kelly” Bond (Libby) of Reynolds and James L. Bond (Nichole) of Macon; one daughter, Jean Marie Bond of Reynolds; grandchildren, Cooper Bond of Reynolds, Nicholas Bond of Reynolds, Marah Lengel (Joseph) of Savannah, Samuel Bond of Topeka, KS, and Mallory Bond of Macon.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Butler.
