Funeral services for Blondell Bennett, 83, of Reynolds will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 2:00 pm at New Prospect Baptist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Blondell passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

She was a member of Little Bethel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Amerson and Jewell Victoria William Amerson; her husbands, Lester Wainwright and Nelson Bennett; one brother, James Amerson; two sisters, Mary Jo Kinslow and Martha Akins; one son, Ricky Wainwright; three grandchildren, Jason Wainwright, Ruth Ann Wainwright and Tiffany Wainwright.

She is survived by four sons, Lamar Wainwright (Crystal) of Reynolds, Tommy Wainwright (Bonnie) of Griffin, Todd Wainwright (Tara) of Butler and Eric Wainwright (Dawn) of Butler; one sister, Linda Cavender of Lynette AL;  fourteen grandchildren; twenty six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
