Funeral services for Bobbie Dean Wainwright, 84, of Butler will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Bethel Church.  Visitation will be held one hour before the service.  Burial will follow in Turner’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.  Bobbie Dean passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025.  She was a member of Bethel Church and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlton and Polly Jordan; her husband, Olief Wainwright; three brothers, Billy Jordan, Sr., Barry Jordan, and Ronnie Jordan; a granddaughter, Jessica Davis and son-in-law, David Hudgens.

She is survived by three children, Bonnie Hudgens of Mauk, Amanda (Terry) Davis of Butler, and Chris (Lynn) Wainwright of Butler; five grandchildren, Adam (Kathy) Averett, Brandy (Billy) Short, Jamie (David) Jones, Dillon (Amber) Wainwright and Kalynn (J.R.) Cooper; nine great-grandchildren, Harley Averett, Emily (Ben) Youngblood, Nicholas Averett, Will Short, Tesla Short, Shelby, Brittney, Allison, and Jessica Jones; three great-great-grandchildren, Blakely Averett, Morgan Short, and Carson Youngblood; one sister, Connie Wainwright of Butler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
