Graveside services for Cecil Greene, 83, of Reynolds, will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Greene passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at his residence. He attended Taylor Mill Baptist Church and retired from Flint Energies after eighteen years of service. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Greene and Lessie Bodrey Greene; one brother, Walter Greene; and one sister, Bessie Hill.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Vernell Greene of Reynolds; one son, Edward Greene of Butler; three daughters, Barbara Greene of Reynolds, Diana Stilwell (Bobby) of Chula, and April Johnson (Jason) of Butler; one sister, Mary Lucas of Ft. Valley; one brother, David Greene (Elaine) of Roberta; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
