Memorial services for Cecil Ellis Hale, Sr., 72, of Ideal, will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Lockwood Cemetery. Mr. Hale passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

Mr. Hale attended Little Bethel Church and was a hardworking man who spent his life as a mechanic and truck driver. He was the owner and operator of Hale Trucking and took great pride in his work. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and the outdoors, a pastime that brought him much happiness throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Hale and Mattie Ruth Taylor Hale, and his beloved wife, Joan Hazeldon Hale.

He is survived by two sons, Cecil Hale, Jr. (Cassandra) of Oglethorpe and Alvin James Hale (Holly) of Rupert; one daughter, Sabrina Hale Smith (Paul) of Oglethorpe; and nine grandchildren.
