Christy Michele Watkins, 53, of Calhoun, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Roberta Evangelistic Church with burial to follow in Roberta City Cemetery.

Christy was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Smith Asbell and Vivian Nelson Asbell.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Watkins of Calhoun; three sons, Hunter Harris (Mindy) of Roberta, Chad Derick Watkins of Cartersville, and Travis Scott Watkins of Calhoun; two brothers, Chris Asbell (Lisa) of Calhoun and Michael Asbell; grandchildren, Kayla Nicole King of Navarre, Florida, Raeleigh Hope Harris of Roberta, Adalin Layne Harris of Roberta, Avery Pearl Harris of Roberta, Lizzie Blaire Harris of Roberta, Ella Faith Grizzle of Calhoun, Leland Gage Watkins of Calhoun, Kevin Nicholas Watkins of Calhoun, Gavin Chad Watkins of Plant City, Florida, and Aiden Lamar Watkins of Plant City, Florida; and one great-grandson, Lennox Cole King of Navarre, Florida.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children's Hospital at Erlanger in Chattanooga, TN.
