Funeral services for Clark Peterman, 78, of Butler will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Peterman passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at his residence.
He was born in Taylor County to the late Dennis O. Peterman and Eva Mae Cox Peterman and grew up and attended public schools in Peach County. A brother, Kenneth Peterman and sisters, Betty McFarland and Brenda Deason also preceded him in death. Clark was a member and deacon of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. He loved to sing and visit shut-ins, gardening, fishing, and classic cars. He was retired from Precision Collision as an auto-refinisher and had previously been employed in several shops in Middle Georgia. He served his country in the US Naval Reserve during the Cuban Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Peterman of Butler; one brother, Millard G. Peterman of Ft. Valley; several nieces and nephews also survive.
