Dan H. Hightower, Sr.

Graveside services for Dan H. Hightower, Sr., 85, of Roberta will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 11:00 am at Roberta City Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at McLeighton Funeral Service.  Mr. Hightower passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at his residence.

He was preceded in death his parents, Henry Wallace Hightower and Ellen Katherine Monroe Hightower; and his wife, Neta Lenora Jacobs Hightower.

He is survived by one son, Dan H. Hightower, Jr. (Kristal) of Roberta; two daughters, Julie Dianne Grammer of Macon and Kathy Medley (Ronald) of Roberta; two brothers, Tommy Hightower (Kay) and Monty Hightower; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
