David Hudgens

Funeral services for David Hudgens, 75, of Mauk will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of McLeighton Funeral Service, Reynolds, GA.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until the service hour. Burial will be private.

David passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at his residence.  He was a member of Turner’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and was a retired contractor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alford Hudgens and Rosie Lee Dailey Hudgens; three brothers, Donnie Hudgens, Thomas Hogan and Rufus Hudgens.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Hudgens of Mauk; two sons, Danny Hudgens (Lisa) of Butler and Chanse Hudgens (Laura) of Panama City, FL; two daughters, Lisa Brown (Tim) of Sharpsburg, GA and Teresa Winsor of Butler; two step children, Adam Averett (Kathy) of Butler and Brandy Short (Billy) of Butler; one brother, Alfred Hudgens (Deloris) of Lutherville; GA; three sisters, Faye Whatley of Butler, Janice Clark (Phillip) of Byron and Nancy Taunton (Halley) of Butler; eleven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; one step-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
