Debra Sue (Gaultney) Chambers, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on September 05, 2021, following a long illness that ended with heart failure.
During the last few years, Debra shared her life and her home with her daughter, Kristi and grandson, Brock, who were the foundation of her joy and happiness. The peace and love that surrounded Debra was most evident by her radiant smile, which touched the hearts of all those who knew her. Among the many things that brought her comfort and joy was her love of nature including beautiful flowers and fauna. To know Debra was to know and understand how the simplest of things in life were treasures to her and that she would find happiness all about her, even while she was dealing with her failing health.
Debra is survived by numerous family and friends including her daughter Kristi Windham of Macon; her grandson Brock Turner of Americus; her brother Tony Gaultney of Montezuma; her sister LeAnn (Gaultney) Cucchiara of Silver Springs, FL; and several nieces, nephews & cousins.
Debra was preceded in death by her mom and dad, Mary Nell and Harley Gaultney of Butler as well as two sisters, Patricia & Carolyn, and two brothers, Jerry & Larry.
Debra will be honored in a celebration of her life on September 10, 2021, at 4:00pm at the Chapel of McLeighton Funeral Services of Reynolds.
