Funeral services for Dorothy Rigby “Mama Dot” Lowe, 86, of Butler will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Turners Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Dot passed away on Saturday, October 07, 2023, in Thomaston.

She was a member of Turners Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and was retired seamstress and inspector.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Erma Rigby; husband, Laney Beason Lowe; two brothers, Billy Rigby and Jake Rigby.

Survivors include one son, Ronald Lowe, Sr of Thomaston; one sister, Sarah Smith of Newborn; one grandson, Ronald Lowe, Jr. of Thomaston; two great grandchildren, Camden Lowe and Raelyn Lowe; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 pm until the funeral hour.
