A memorial service for Edward Guined, 81, of Butler will be held Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of McLeighton Funeral Service, Reynolds, GA. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be private.  Edward passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at his residence.  He was of the Baptist faith and was a retired brick mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Daniel Guined and Janie Elizabeth Edmondson Guined and a daughter-in-law, Angie Guined.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Barbara Guined of Butler; one son, Kenneth Guined of Thomaston; one daughter, Bonnie Smith (Mark) of Butler; one brother, Mark Guined of Butler; three sisters, Kathy Johnson (Herman) of Butler, Wanda Guined of Butler and Laura Baughcum of Butler; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
