Elizabeth "Liz" Culverhouse

Graveside services for Elizabeth “Liz” Culverhouse, 44, of Ft. Valley will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Liz passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Culverhouse and Gloria Taunton Culverhouse.

She is survived by her spouse, José Franasco Yanez Sanchez of Ft. Valley; three sons, Tyler Winters (Madison) of Mauk, Matthew Winters of Ft. Valley, and Bryson Yanez of Ft. Valley; two daughters, Harley Adams of Americus and Brianna Yanez of Ft. Valley; two sisters, Christal Gibson of Butler and Stacey Hobbs (Brian) of Butler; and three grandchildren, Haden Winters, Lane Winters, and Ridge Styck.
