Eloise Culverhouse passed on to heaven on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at home. She battled a long sickness, but never complained and always had a smile. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 10:30 am Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Horeb Baptist Church on 1398 West Old Wire Road, Junction City. Funeral services will be held at the church immediately following visitation. Burial will follow in the Howard United Methodist Church Cemetery in Howard.
Mrs. Culverhouse was a Christian having received Jesus as her personal savior and was baptized at Westside Baptist Church in Warner Robins. She was born in Upson County where she lived until she married the love of her life, Clinton Culverhouse, in September 1950. They enjoyed a long life of 68 years together in Taylor County until his death. They attended Horeb Baptist Church in Talbot County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Culverhouse; parents, Roy and Cora Bryant; and two sisters, Dorothy Culverhouse and Jeannie Parks.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Hamilton; son-in-law, Jerry Hamilton; grandson, Casey Hamilton; two brothers, Lee Roy Bryant and James Bryant; two brothers-in-law, Jack Culverhouse and Archie Culverhouse; and several nephews and nieces.
