She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Commander (US Navy, Ret.) Archie Eugene Allen, of Butler; two daughters, Melinda “Mindy” Allen Choppa (Robert, Colonel US Army, Ret.) of Columbus and Carol “Sissy” Allen Bulmer (William) of Decatur; two sisters, Elizabeth Jane Harris Summers of Fayetteville and Carol Sue Harris Clark of Hapeville; and four cherished grandchildren: Captain John Alexander Choppa, US Army and Captain Jacob Allen Choppa, US Army, both of Hawaii; William Scott Allen Bulmer of Decatur; and Samuel Allen Bulmer of Athens.
