Ernest Edward Bloodsworth

Graveside services for Ernest Edward Bloodsworth, 67, of Reynolds will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.  Edward passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Minnie Davis Bloodsworth and a sister, Elizabeth Wainwright.

He was a humble and devoted Christian that loved helping others. Edward never met a stranger and everyone that knew him loved him and he loved them in return.  He was employed with Bibb Manufacturing for over 30 years, where he had many friends.  The last few years he resided at Taylor County Health and Rehab.  Edward loved helping the other residents and staff.

Survivors include one sister, Ella Mae Alexander of Meansville; one brother-in-law, James Wainwright of Reynolds; one brother, Emory Bloodsworth of Alabama;  several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great nieces and great-great nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
