Funeral services for Evelyn Wainwright, 79, of Butler will be held Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Bethel Church.  Visitation will be held one hour before the service. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Mrs. Wainwright passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Columbus Hospice.

She was a member of New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Joseph Brown and Eva Mae Perkins Brown; two brothers, James Herman Brown and Eulan Brown; two sisters, Faye Laverne Brown and Mary Doris Brown; a grandson, Barry Duncan, a great-great granddaughter, Rynleigh Albritton; and a great-great-grandson, Zero Thompson.

Survivors include her husband, Curtis Wainwright of Butler;  two sons, Richard Curtis Wainwright of Butler and Sidney James Wainwright of Butler; two daughters, Pat Dukes (Ben) of Butler and Sandra Fuller of Butler; sixteen grandchildren; and thirty-five great-grandchildren.
