Evelyn Lynette (Moss) Watson

Evelyn Lynette Moss Watson, 82, of Reynolds, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Fellowship Evangelical Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Roberta City Cemetery.

Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her parents Ralph Moss and Jeanette Murphy Moss; her husband John T Watson; one son, Rusty Hortman; two brothers, Darol Moss and Randy Moss; two sisters, Carolyn Britt and Kathy Jones; and one granddaughter, Amanda Ramirez.

She is survived by one son, Rodney Hortman (Tammy) of Reynolds; five daughters, Teresa McDaniel (Dean) of Reynolds, Amy Cail of Reynolds, Pam Johnson (Al) of Reynolds,  Penny Plunkett (Kenny) of Reynolds, and Sharon Johnson (Rick) of Reynolds; one brother, Wayne Moss (Kathy); six sisters, Emma Jean Harper (Mark) of Lizella, Sue Felker of Crestview, Florida, Vickie Trussell of Butler, Gwen Davison of Butler, Phyllis Thomas (Tom) of Byron, and Tracy Culverhouse (Warren) of Roberta; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Watson will be remembered for her love of family and the kindness she showed to everyone who knew her.
