Graveside services for Grover Cleveland Spillers, Jr., 82, of Butler will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Butler Memorial Cemetery.  Mr. Spillers passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024, at his residence.

He was of the Baptist faith, retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation and had served in the Georgia National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover Cleveland Spillers, Sr. and Hazel Standridge Spillers as well as a grandson, Aubrey Jaynes Hinton.

Survivors include three sons, Bryan Spillers (Sha) of Butler, Todd Spillers (Emma) of Thomaston and Keith Spillers of Thomaston; one daughter, Jan Spillers Hinton (Ricky) of Butler; one brother, Alan Spillers (Claire) of Butler; one sister, Marilyn Hortman of Reynolds; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and his lifelong partner of 33 years, Barbara Corley.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
