Heath Beeland

Henry Heath Beeland, 87, of Reynolds, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6th, at his residence.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9th at 2:00.  Service at 3:00 p.m., at The Church, 592 Thomaston Highway, Butler, GA.

Heath was a caring husband, father, pawpaw, brother, uncle, and a respected friend. He was a member of The Church of Butler.

He dedicated many years of service to Blue Bird Body Co. before retiring; earning the respect of his co-workers through his strong work ethic and dependability.  Outside of work he loved spending time with his family and teaching them valuable life skills.  Whether he was showing you how to work on tractors, lawnmowers, or vehicles, how to cut grass properly, or how to grind combine doffers he believed that the best lessons were taught by working side by side.  His willingness to share what he knew created memories that will continue for generations. His love, guidance, and example will remain with us always.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Heath was preceded in death by his wife Patsy P. Beeland, his parents, Julius M. Beeland and Grace Heath Beeland, three sisters Gloria B. Dowdy, Lillian B. Robertson, Barbara M. Beeland, grandson, Brandon N. Allen and two great-grandchildren, Abby Lynn and Alex Nicholas Allen.

He leaves to treasure his memory one daughter, Cindy (Herman) Slocumb of Reynolds, one son, Tommy (Allison) Beeland of Reynolds, five grandchildren, Heather (Brandon) Hunter, Trenton Beeland, Cailyn Beeland, Anna Slocumb and Rob (Kaile) Slocumb, eight great-grandchildren Mason Hunter,  Jaxon Hunter, Clayton Hunter, Erin Allen, Aubrey Allen, Austin Allen, Brax Slocumb & Logan Slocumb; one sister, Varnell B. Culpepper of Forsyth and one brother, J.E. Beeland of Reynolds along with numerous nieces and nephews.
