Memorial services for James Richard Jackson, 70, of Ft. Valley will be held at a later date. Mr. Jackson passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023 at his residence. He retired from the US Postal Service.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Jackson and Evelyn Peggy Bailey Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Jackson of Ft Valley; children, James “Ricky” Jackson, Jr. of Roberta, Keeli Jackson (Jeff) of Landstuhl Germany, Jeff Jackson (Rachel) of Bonaire and Jason Jackson (Angela) of Musella; one step son, Jason Tollerud of Ft. Valley; two brothers, Scotty Jackson (Kathy) of Roberta, Bobby Jackson of Jackson; two sisters in laws, Jan Jackson of Barnesville and Monta of Barnesville.
