Jamie Cox Obituary

Jamie Cox, 85, of Butler passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 at his home.  A private graveside service will be held at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. 


 He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Hall Cox; and a son, Larry Cox: and a brother, J.E. Cox.


 He retired from Robins Air Force Base after more than twenty years of service.  He enjoyed farming and entertaining friends and most of all spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


 Survivors include his son, Lamar Cox (Tina) of Butler; grandchildren, Chris Cox (Jessica), Mindy Hobbs (John), Melanie Allen (Drew) and Wesley Cox; great-grandchildren, Ava Taylor and Peyton Christopher Cox, Logan, Kaylin and Lainey Hobbs and Hattie James Allen; sister-in-law, Gloria Cox of Macon.


 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Heart of Georgia Hospice, 100 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA  31088.
