Graveside services for Jessie “J.W.” Pitts, 81, of Reynolds will be held on Wednesday, July 10. 2024 at 11:00 am at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. J.W. passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024, at his home. He attended Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Pitts and Alice Avery Pitts.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Pitts of Reynolds; one son, Rickey Pitts (Kristin) of Reynolds; two daughters, Stephanie Davenport of Reynolds and Amanda Harris (Clif) of Macon; one brother, Gary Pitts of Reynolds; three sisters, Mary Lizzie Spillers, Mattie Pitts and Bessie Pearl Tharpe all of Butler six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; extended family member, Robert Storey of Butler; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
